About

Prosecution isn’t just a job—it’s a calling.

Cindy Crick’s path to the courtroom didn’t begin in law school—it began in service. Early in her career, she worked with mothers and children in crisis, serving as a health educator and outreach coordinator for a domestic violence shelter. “My work with mothers and children in crisis showed me how much victims need a voice in the justice system,” Cindy recalls.

Answering that call, Cindy earned her law degree from the University of South Carolina and began her career as an Assistant Solicitor in South Carolina’s 7th Circuit. For more than eight years, she prosecuted cases, fought for victims, and built a reputation as a tough but fair advocate for justice.

Her leadership soon extended beyond the courtroom. Cindy served nearly a decade as Chief of Staff to Congressman Trey Gowdy, where she helped shape policy and lead on issues of accountability, oversight, and the rule of law. In 2020, she returned home to Greenville to open her own law practice, continuing to serve her community.

In June 2025, Governor Henry McMaster appointed Cindy as Solicitor for the 13th Judicial Circuit, representing Greenville and Pickens Counties. Today, she leads the office with the same passion and determination that first drew her to public service—seeing prosecution not just as a career, but as a calling.
